This poem reflects the poet's amazement of how our minds work, through all these corrupt cirstances and obstacles that meet everyone in everyday-life. he pictures the mind as a bat exploring the darkness , and " A graceful error may correct the cave" is the best metonymy meaning that human have to experience his faults in order to know what's right.
