Yes those are good ingredients, i like to cook the apples first, because if you put the apples in ram the crust will be really high and your apples will fall. I dont like the way that looks. But yes it will be gooey just make sure you put a little flour in with the apples. By cooking the apples just saute them with all your ingredients, until soft.
