Warmest January on record, Nature or AGW?

Not surprised since it goes back only to 1979. Real easy to be "warmest" when the data only goes back 31 years. Also, as you have mentioned, we are in another really strong El Nino weather pattern with a 2�C plus El Nino, which is as strong if not stronger then the 1997-1998 one.
