So, today was obviously Valentines Day...?

My boyfriend, that i have been with for 2 &1/2 years, says he got me something but it isn't "here" yet. I swear thats usually code for Oh snap...i didn't get anything. I often feel like even if he does get me things they are usually thoughtless. Sometimes he can be really touchy, so if i even mention what i think he gets defensive, like i don't think he loves me or whatever. Which is not the case. I just feel like i put a lot of thought into things i get for him, and i don't get it in return. Am i making to big of a deal out of this? Or should i try to approach this with him again. I don't want to make him feel bad, but i wanna let him know how i feel without bringing him down, or condemning him. Any suggestions?
