Living/working in monterrey nuevo leon mexico?
I live in Monterrey, and I'm actually looking for a job with a master degree, and let me tell you it's a bit hard, but not impossible. There are businesses looking for tech support and computer support so that might be a choice, also in Mexico speaking english fluidly is a big PRO to your favor. In theory you need a cartilla militar, but in reality few jobs actually ask for it, my brother is a programmer and they never asked him for it, nor my other brother who didn't event went to military service, so I wouldn't worry much about that one too much. What you do have to bear in mind is that in Mexico technical jobs are very poorly payed, you have better chances with school degrees..however, Computer support crew or even English teachers don't get so badly payed, depending how good they are. Go to http://www.occ.com.mx/ then search for jobs that match your skills, you can get a glimpse of the salaries according to your skills, if they pay better than your current job you could consider the chance of moving to monterrey. Good luck!
