What kind of glue do I use to stick my cpu chip to a motherboard?

I short circuited my motherboard and brought a new one. I need to stick my cpu, fan, etc back into the new motherboard. What kind of glue do I use? My roommate is the one repairing it, and said I needed glue (before he left for the holidays). I want to buy the glue before he returns, and he is currently out of cell phone range so i cannot ask him to specify. I was thinking epoxy glue, but I'm not sure. What do you guys think?
